Music Lessons and Marketing

Jan 15, 2021

Most music studios start off with one employee-YOU. Your studio was defined by your ability to show up. Everything changes once you hire that first employee. You are now the head of an organization. Your first employee needs to understand what your mission is, what success looks like, and what expectations exist.

Once you hire that first employee your job title changes from solopreneur to business leader. To be a successful leader of your teaching business you must fully embrace these new responsibilities.

The more employees you hire the more your leadership skills are put to the test. Leadership skills are like any skill. You have to make an effort to learn about leadership and put in to play your knowledge.

In part 1 of this 2-part episode, I speak with Marwan Kanafani about what it means to be a great leader and how you can apply it to your teaching business.
